Photo / VideoSoft paywall · trial optionalpaywall: post onboarding quizquiz drivenminimal fast trackone plan onlyfeature listannual default with trial
screen 11
Get-to-value-fast done right for an AI app: the whole screen is a wall of generated results, and the only CTA is 'Dive in'. No signup, terms live quietly under the button as 'By continuing I agree...' rather than a blocking checkbox. The work the app does for you is the value prop. Show it, don't explain it.
screen 22
Two-question onboarding, exactly the '1-2 questions' I argue for with AI apps. Gender is the cheap one to ask first, and they make it skippable up top so they never block the high-intent user. The 'Step 1/2' counter sets the expectation that this is short.
screen 33
This is the question that matters: pick a content interest (Trend Dance, Lights Off, Wanted Prank...) so the app can show you exactly the thing you came for. Smart that it's single-select to keep it fast, but I'd test multi-select here. People want more than one trend, and capturing two interests gives you more to personalize the feed with.
screen 44
The free-trial toggle reveal right before the paywall. Flipping the switch on-screen frames the trial as already turned on for you, so the paywall reads as 'keep what you have' instead of 'start paying'. Small piece of theater, but it primes the conversion.
screen 55
Weekly is the default, which is correct for an AI app. People want to try it, not commit to a year ($12.99/week, 3-day trial). One plan only, no decoy tiers, just 'Become Pro' with a benefits list and a face peeking in from the corner to keep it visual. This fires right after a 2-question quiz, before any real product use, so they're monetizing first-session intent hard.
screen 66
Account creation lands AFTER the paywall, and it's a soft 'Maybe later'. Interesting tradeoff. They take the purchase first while intent is highest, then ask you to sign in to 'safely store your AI profiles'. The benefit-framed reason ('access them anytime') is the right way to ask, but deferring signup this late means anonymous payers they may struggle to reconnect later.
screen 77
Notification opt-in framed by the specific payoff. 'Your project is ready to explore' with a realistic notification mockup. Not generic 'stay updated'. That's the right framing. It's also load-bearing here because their core loop is async generation: you'll leave the app while it renders, so the notify-when-done permission directly serves the product.
screen 88
screen 99
Home feed dropped straight in front of you, no blank dashboard, and a persistent 'Become Pro / Get access to all packages' banner pinned at the bottom. This is the always-on upsell: lock the good packs, keep an Unlock CTA in view everywhere. The 'Nano Banana 2.0. Next-level style' hero is doing the ASO-trend-chasing work.
screen 1010
Second paywall, triggered when you tap a locked pack. Same weekly $12.99 plan but the CTA copy shifts to 'Start Free Trial' with 'No Payment Now' underneath. Leaning on the no-risk framing on the contextual hit. Building a real 2nd touch matters because 90%+ don't convert on the first paywall; I'd push further and segment it (this re-offer is identical to paywall #1 rather than a fresh angle).
screen 1111
screen 1212
This is the aha moment, finally. The AI Photo Remake picker where you choose an effect and see your result. Experiencing the output is the value; everything before this was setup. The 'Total credits: 0' meter and greyed-out 'Continue' are the conversion lever, gating the actual generation behind Pro.

screen 1515
Projects empty state turned into a signup prompt: 'No projects here yet... Let's start by creating an account.' This is the deferred account creation surfacing contextually instead of as a forced gate. You only feel the friction once you have a reason (to save your work). Good placement; the empty state IS the ask.
screen 1616
Settings drawer keeps the account ask alive with a 'Welcome. Create your account to access all features' card and a 'Let's Start' CTA. They never hard-block signup, they just keep a low-friction prompt in every surface. Note 'Rate Us' is buried in settings here. I'd pull a review prompt forward into onboarding, before the paywall, to capture sentiment at its peak.
